Help for knee pain.

This is one of my favorite times of the year.  Fall and football, you just can’t beat the combination.  With football I see a number of more acute type of injuries to the knee, contusions, mild MCL sprains, etc.  Most of these can be maanged and back to full function with our neuro based ARP wave therapy.  The muscles around the injury get turned off and your brain gets used to this and you need to get a new imprint into the brain and nervous system to get those muscles functioning properly again.  The ARP wave therapy I do at my clinic works phenomenal for this.  I first used it on Lincoln Howard who is the starting right tackle for Northern Illinois University.  Lincoln had a hip dislocation which is a devastating career ending injury because this type of injury can cause the blood flow tho the ball of the hip joint to be decreased and the ball eventually dies and you need a new hip at a young age.  Bo Jackson had this and that was pretty much it for him back in the 1980″s.  ARP was very successful on Lincoln and then I started using it on myself and all my little injuries and my son Riley with great success.  I’ve been using it for 5 years now and use it daily with my patients for not only knee problems but any neuromuscloskeletal problem that causes inhibiiton of proper muscle function.  I’ve been going down to Concordia University in St. Paul every tuesday night to work on football players and ARP has been awesome at keeping these guys practicing and playing games on weekend.  I’ll be doing a workshop on ARP wave therapy soon at my clinic so I’ll keep you posted if you want to learn more about how it may help you. It’s been great fun working with the Osceola football team also.  What a great bunch of kids.  Look for them to go deep in to the playoffs.  Hats off to all the OHS teams. One of the best things you can do for your self is do cut the carbs out of your diet.  Carbohydrate restriction is the best form of diet if you are prone to diabetes and cardiovascular disease.   Carbs are the deamons on your plate.  Want to lose weight don’t do grains and fat free foods.  Forget that, eat fat and protein.  I go through a dozen or so avocados weekly. I love avocados in a protein based smoothie first thing in the moring.  It tastes so darn great.   Try it, you’ll like it. Don’t forget to get in and get adjusted.  It’s incredible not only how good it feels but how important it is neurologically for good brain and body development.
