If you are bored with what you are eating.

One of the toughest things for people who are trying to lose weight or want to really get their health back and start a anti-inflammatory diet.

It’s the number one thing you can do to get your body to start de-toxing and start healing.

Bye bye aches, pains, and oh by the way as you start healing the weight melts off.

The important thing to realize when you are on a anti-inflammaotry diet is you will be eating incredible good foods.  There is no gluten, dairy, soy, egg, or yeast, but there are so many great foods you can eat that heal your body. Remember inflammation is making oyu sick, so we eat anti-inflammatory foods.

So what can you eat?  Organic meat, chicken, fish, tons and tons of green and multi color vegetables, stone fruits(fruits with pits in them), nuts and seeds after a month or so.

Here is a great website of a fellow friend of mine who has a great facebook page on repairing and surviving an anti-inflammatory diet.

Well I’m still recovering from the Birkie.  Man did that race take it out of me.  So time to get rested up because i’ve got the last race of the year this saturday in the wonderful town of Calumet Michigan.

In 1900 Calumet was the second largest city in Michigan.  It’s an old copper mining city that peaked out about 1920 and has been on a slow decline since.  They have incredible old churches and historic buildings and an opera house.   It’s the one race a year I absolutely love.

Calumet is also the home of George Gipp.

You can also check out my wife’s facebook site, she has been putting on 2-3 x a week things we eat at our house.  Just add her to your facebook.  I’ll also have her start putting them on my Edling Chiropractic and Wellness facebook site.

Ok, I know it’s cold, just hang in there!!  Spring is right around the corner!!

  • A picture can tell a thousand words

It's funny  how I took a picture of myself after a ski race this weekend on my cell phone and posted it to facebook and somehow 120 people liked it and a lot of comments on the pic.  If you want to see the pic just go to my facebook page and you can see it.  I was shocked to see how that one pic
  • How do you know if you are healthy or not just sick?

I think most people think they are pretty healthy. Oh, they may think it's normal to have headaches, back pain, and sore extremities, or it's just normal to feel like you are getting old. I see people daily who have these complaints and many other chronic complaints and I'm telling you it is n
  • Crawl, Walk, Then Run.

When it comes to any kind of chronic health issue you have to give your self time to heal. One of the biggest things you can do to start the healing process is to go Gluten, Dairy, and Soy free.  That's because they are inflammatory foods.  It's kind of like putting fuel on the fire.  Doesn't
  • You are not alone, part two.

I'm sure many people out east felt quite alone with Hurricane Irene slamming North Carolina, the Jersey shore and Vermont really got the flooding. No electricity means no computer, no lights, no fridge, no nothing. To me it would mean no distractions. I'd have to actually deal with the moment as

The more I do what my heart and gut says the better my life seems to be. Follow your heart, trust your gut and watch out world, here you come. That could be it for the blog but lets dive into living life to the max. Friday night there was a bunch of homecoming games in the area. What fun it
