Do you know what your toxic load is?

What an incredible busy weekend for us Osceola natives. Wheels and Wings looked like a huge success. I’ve never seen so many old cars coming from the cities as I was driving to go to the Gophers game. Coming back from the game the traffic was backed up on 243 to the bridge. I bet there was 20,000 people visiting Osceola this weekend. It was great to see the Osceola middle and High school bands perform. They did a tremendous job. The routine the high school band did was awesome!! They should be very proud of themselves. It was great to see everyone in such a festive mood this weekend. Local days are when everyone comes out of the woodwork. Pretty soon winter will be here and you hardly see anybody. Congrats to all the organizers and volunteers who put on Wheels and Wings. For those of you who are not local put the first weekend after Labor day on your calendar for a great time at wheels and wings.

It was home opener for the Gopher this weekend and I’ve got to be honest with you, I wish they played tougher competition than the likes of New Hampshire. New Hampshire was totally out matched and as a fan I like games where it is competitive. As a former player it was so cool to play USC who was number 2 in the country and had players like Ronnie Lott, Marcus Allen, and Rams head coach Jeff Fischer . I feel the tougher the competition the more prepared you are to compete. It was a gorgeous day at the TCF stadium and the fans were having a lot of fun with all the scoring. The Big 10 took a beting this past weekend with 6 teams losing. At least they played tougher competition. The Badgers really had a tough go of it. They fired their offensive line coach I heard. Lets see how it all plays out for you Big 10 fans.

On the healthier side of things I’ve added a weight loss program to our care programs and people are having very good success. It is not a quick fix, but rather a way of changing the physiology of your body by removing your toxic load and and getting your barrier systems to work for you and not against you. You have 4 major barrier systems. The skin, lungs, intestinal, and blood brain barrier. They act as a barrier to protect you from toxins. There re millions of toxins that overload our barriers and can break them down over time. Do you know what your toxic load is? Here are some common ones. Food allergy, medication interactions, intestinal pathogens, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiency, structural imbalances, environmental toxins, leaky gut, compromised detox systems. When you get a toxic load it is like a a hammer hitting a wall. You keep hitting the hammer on the wall and it will eventually breakdown and have a hole in it where things that should not get inside are now able to get in. The same with our body. Wouldn’t it make sense to remove the toxic load and get your body to start healing. Remember 80% of your immune system lies in your gut. If you have bad gut function you will have poor health.

OK, I’m having a weight loss class this wednesday night from 6:30-7:30 pm at my clinic. If you want to learn more about how to get the weight off and keep it off once and for all then this is for you. I’m looking for people who are serious about making a change in their health. You will lose weight on this program. Call me 715-294-3100 or email me back if you want a seat. I have room for 8 people, that’s it.

Make it a great week, it’s going to be 90 tomorrow! Dr. E p.s. Watch out for Osceola football and Volleyball teams, undefeated in conference.

Here are a couple quick confessions over the Christmas holiday season. 1. I ate a ton of cookies and sweets. The temporary quick fix it gave me also gave me the sleepy crash after. Thanks to all of you who brought cookies in. Next year moderation, we will see. 2. When I ate poorly my body
