Nutrition that really works

Wow, what a fantastic seminar I was at this weekend down in the cities. It was on energy medicine which is something completely new to me. It was given by premier research labs out of Austin Texas and I was very impressed by how much new proven and tested healing techniques I learned about healing and how you feed the body what it needs it really will heal and work like a charm.

Did you know that you would have to eat 67 peaches today to get the same nutrients from a peach grown back in 1950! So 60 years ago we had much better soil for our crops and our food wasn’t near as processed as it is now. You never saw very many fat people and now look at all the stats of obesity and childhood obesity. Something has to change and it starts with each on of us.

Here is a couple tid bits you can use.

Start drinking out of a glass bottle 1/2 your body weight in ounces a day. If you weigh 150 pounds then I want you to drink 75 ounces. This will clean your kidney, liver, and G.I. tract. If you are dehydrated and most everyone is, their is no way you can have energy.

Stay away from aspartame which is used in diet pops. It is poison for your brain and central nervous system, and kills your pancreas.

Eat like a king at breakfast(protein based)
Eat like a queen at lunch
Eat like a pauper at supper.

Start putting cocunut oil on your skin and eat a teaspoon a day, it’s great source of fats. Remember fats are good for you!! Your brain is basically made of fats. Your brain needs fuel which is the nutrition you give it. You want a good brain put good things in it.

Start getting better and more sleep. I like to test people with an adrenal stress test which shows your 4 cortisol(stress hormone) levels or a 24 hour period of time. Your coritsol levels are suppose to be highest in the morning and lowest at bedtime. Unfortunately for most people they have high cortisol levels at night and can’t sleep or their morning levels are burnt out and low. Melatonin works great but kind of just masks the underlying adrenal dysfunction. Best to have the test done.
I try to get 8 hours of sleep a night. The only time I ever have had a hard time sleeping is when I’m really stressed out, or have overtrained. The body and spirit recover at night. Getting proper sleep is as important or more important than what your nutrition.

Look in the mirror and say out loud “I can be healthy” . Do this 10 times with conviction. Once you feel good about that then move on to saying “I can do what it takes yo be healthy” Say that 10 times 2x daily. Try it and let me know how it goes.

Remember you have to take total responsibility for your health. I then can show and assist you how to get your health back if you have lost it, and help you keep it and improve it once you have it back.

Until next time, great eats, and lots of sleep, and don’t forget to move that body! Dr. E p.s. Forgive anyone and everyone before you go to bed every night. You will sleep better and feel rested in the morning.

I put olive oil on my skin, everything else burns my eyes. Don’t watch tv or do computer at night, it makes your brain think it’s daytime.
    Jury’s still out on sucralose.
Is sugar really toxic like the new study reports? It’s hard on the vasculature.
